Sometimes we forgot the gentle yet profound effects nature can have on how we feel, our sense of well-being and our awareness and the ability of our bodies to heal and repair.
The experiences and reflections we can receive when out in Nature can bring us back home to ourselves, reducing of stress and internal disharmony, reducing Dis – Ease and as a result improving our overall well-being.
Nature can help to remind us of who we are at our core, it helps us get back in touch with deeper authentic expressions of Self when the busy-ness and the distractions of life and things outside of ourself take our attention away from our centre.
Everything is energy , literally everything. Quantum physics now shows us this; something the old mystical traditions have always known.
Nature acts like a tuning fork, resonating frequencies which help draw us back into our core, our heart. When we go out into nature and become still it can be quiet and yet it is full of life with so much going on in in that quiet stillness. It is full of life and movement, growing and evolving. The old breaking down, composting providing nutrients for a newness to regrow from out of the old, nothing wasted, all being recycled contributing to new and evolutionary cycles.
Such a richness of biological diversity than cannot be grasped with the mind but can be perceived in the quiet awareness of the heart. We need these places of ancient old forests, untouched and undisturbed where the qualities of Sacredness and Reverence can still be felt. Reminders of the Sacredness and reverence within ourselves which may be laying dormant and forgotten within the many distractions surrounding us. Forgetting that this is even possible to reawaken within. These special places in Nature can awaken within us those longings of a return to oneness, to unity and connectedness, to sacredness. It reflects and can awaken a deeper journey inwards.
These places in Nature can remind us of places within us that “normal life“ does not reflect, encourage or support. In many ways life in conventional society actively works against and discourages going to these places within ourselves to remember who we are.
It is this remembering that awakens and encourages us explore a deeper level of what feels authentic. Where we do not have to pretend or compromise ourselves, where we can just “BE” and from this place of being, decide what we choose to do.
So often the doing comes from the frantic urges of the world around us and the unresolved unintegrated aspects within. Healing can be given the space to occur when we come home to our centre and give ourselves the space to just be. To rest in this authenticity and then with appropriate boundaries and wise reflection, choose what we Do. From here we come from a place of more wholeness and authenticity, we create different outcomes for our life and less internal conflict.
Have you ever noticed how the more authentic we are, the more we like ourselves and the more we are able to give ourselves permission to take up space. In so doing, creating more self-acceptance and self-love, less “Dis – ease” and more harmony …. with ourselves and then into the outer world. We create a healthier environment all around us.
We are not separate from the planet, we are literally one with it.
Our bodies are made up of bits of the planet. This Mother Earth shares ingredients from her body with us to help build a body which we inhabit and get to live in and have experience here. To live, to evolve and learn and then when we have finished this life our body returns to the Earth who so generously shared herself with us for our collective evolution. Nature is constantly showing us living examples of Unity, Oneness and Connectedness all of the time.
Lets Love and Appreciate her.
With Love
Kim
